The Hilan Castle was built in 1913 by Charles and Teresa Roper. Located in the heart

The Hilan Castle was refurbished from 2003-2006. Currently it is used for apartment rentals,
but it can easily can be converted into a single residence or rented out for vacation stays.
The Hilan Castle is for sale by owner for $790,000. Deducted from the sale
price is the cost of painting the exterior siding with the buyer choosing their preferred color.
Recently, Newport was selected as the new home of NOAA (National Oceanic
and Atmospheric Administration), indicating a future of economic growth and prosperity.
